78 Lincoln MKV

1978 Lincoln MKV, Texas import, 460 V8, Auto, white with blue landau roof, blue velour interior, moonroof, cartier clock etc. 98K original miles. Still on TX plates, this car has never been UK registered, and never been on the show circuit. all taxes etc were paid - a very easy project as most of the work on this massive car has been done - engine was fully rebuilt, all new brakes and suspension throughout (and we mean all of it including balljoints , hoses, bushes etc) chassis and engine bay were fully restored. This car also was subject to a bare metal up paint job back in 1996. However the car was placed in supposedly "professional" car storage for several years, where the paintwork was damaged due to hot roofing tar being dropped on a much of it. So now the paintwork needs to be done over again. Minor re-trimming and carpets and minor electrics will make this a show-stopper - or you could customize it/lowrider. Last of the true full size "personal luxury" cars and simply an awesome looking car with sharp edged styling that was lost in the later models. This car is a 460 powered land yacht, and so it gets between 8 and 12mpg.
